Description

Anthony Howells grew up in an orphanage in the north of England.

On his sixteenth birthday, he abscondsand stows away on a Greek ship bound for America, eventually ending up in New Orleans.

Lying about his name and age, he finds work as a doorman in a bar, where the owners take him under their wing. However, they also work for a covert government organisation on the side, and John Smith is perfect for such work as he has no papers, family, or past.

They teach him everything he needs to know about killing.
