The Webb Connection

Description

This is dedicated to my dear husband Dudley who died too soon. I know how pleased he would have been that I have done this and it has been an honour to include details of his father Brinley’s war service. I would also not have done this had I not had the encouragement of my children Victoria, Mally, Rebecca, Sophia and Edward to write down all my stories, in case they were forgotten. I hope in the fullness of time they will carry on and write their stories and that my dear grandchildren will enjoy the book and value it as part of their heritage. I have had a lot of help from the impeccable researches of my brother John with his extensive work on the family trees. He also is greatly missed. I have also been able to glean quite a bit of extra information from my sister Elizabeth who has been such a generous and wonderful sister throughout my life. I must also thank my publisher Mark who has been very patient with me taking so long to include photographs and doing the final edit.
